UMass Dartmouth's Corsair Esports
Corsair Esports is a competitive gaming organization held at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. It was founded in 2022, But struggled with awareness and advertising. I decided to take the initiative and create social media and advertising for the organization.
As the Student Marketing Director, tasks included managing various social media platforms and collaborating with key leadership members to ensure effective communication and brand promotion of the program. I also helped to lead a small group of students on my team to help design assets for the organization.
Through my work of advertising and marketing the program on campus and online, I helped grow membership from around 50 members to over 500. We have received numerous donations, as well as growing the program from small meetings in a classroom to our own shared space on campus with over 12 gaming computer setups. I have received the "Emerging Leader Award" by the Student Activities, Involvement, & Leadership program for my work.
